Applications are invited for appointment as Post-doctoral Fellow in the Department of Social Work and Social Administration (Ref.: 527031), to commence as soon as possible for one to two years, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance and funding availability.
Applicants should possess a Ph.D. degree in Social Work, Psychology, Public Health, biostatistic or a related discipline. They should have adequate knowledge of quantitative and qualitative research methods as well as a good command of written Chinese and English. Experiences in research topics of reproduction, infertility, perinatal bereavement, and mental health will be an advantage.
The appointee will work with the Principal Investigator in managing a few research projects. Major duties include all aspects of the research process, in particular, on proposal writing, advanced mixed-methods data analysis, and manuscript preparation, and some knowledge exchange activities. He/she is expected to work independently on project management and mentoring of junior research staff members.
