- Be a key part of the largest medical program in Medical Education (Anatomy) in Western Australia
- Full-time appointment on a 3-year fixed term basis
- Base salary range: Level B, $113,934 – $134,824 p.a. plus 17% superannuation
- Based at QEII Medical Centre
About the team
The MD program is a four-year postgraduate degree, accredited with the Australian Medical Council. The early phase of the program concentrates on the biomedical science disciplines, with integration of clinical and professional learning.
About the opportunity
As the appointee you will contribute to curriculum development, teaching and assessment of integrated basic and clinical anatomy to students within the MD program, with a particular focus on maintenance of a structured, cohesive, clinically relevant anatomy curriculum to support students in the acquisition of medically relevant anatomy knowledge and skills via a positive learning experience.
You will take on unit coordination roles within the MD Year 1 and 2 and Global MD programs with accompanying responsibilities for assessment and student support.
To be considered for this opportunity, you will demonstrate:
- A Higher degree by research in a field relevant to anatomy
- Completion of or progression towards additional qualification in higher education teaching and learning
- Experience in the preparation and delivery of online and face to face lectures and practical classes
- Demonstrated experience in the management of an anatomy laboratory, skills in human cadaveric dissection, and experience in training new dissectors
- Broad knowledge of assessment quality measures in medical education
- Demonstrated ability to relate well to staff and students at all levels and a commitment to equity and diversity principles
